Katie graduated from Simmons College in 2008 where she obtained her Masters in Social Work. Katie is trained in CBT/DBT therapy, PE- exposure treatment and radically open DBT. Katie has extensive experience working with individuals with eating disorders and poor body image, borderline personality disorder (BPD), mood disorders, chronic illness, depression, anxiety and life threatening behaviors such as; chronic and acute suicidal ideation and self injurious behavior. Previous positions include: Mclean Hospital 3 East DBT programs, staff clinician and program director of the Cambridge Residence, Laurel Hill Inn’s IOP eating disorder program as clinical director, Eating Disorder Center of Andover as a group clinician, Graduate practicum includes training at Framingham State College as a college clinican and group leader. and group therapist working with high risk college aged students, Runkle Elementary School in Brookline learning child play therapy and family therapy.
